Rivers Edge Elementary Color Guard

It is a Pack 788 Tradition to perform a brief color guard ceremony at the beginning of all PTA meetings at Rivers Edge Elementary School. This is a great experience for the scouts!

We are asking for color guard volunteers for each meeting. To volunteer, please click on the following link and select one or more dates.

We are in need of Cub Scout volunteers from Pack 788 to serve on the Color Guard at monthly REES PTA meetings. This is a great experience for the scouts! and it only takes about 20 minutes. In recent months, we have struggled with not having volunteers.

All Color Guard participants must wear the full Class A uniform (button down scout shirt, neckerchief and slide, Pack 788 cap.

To sign up, please click on the link below. The sign up includes all color guard dates and times.

Committee Meeting

Posted on Dec 1 2016 - 11:37pm

Pack leadership encourages parents of Pack 788 scouts to attend the December leader committee meeting (Sunday, December 11 at 7:00 PM in the Education Building - second floor).

This would be a great opportunity to learn more about how the pack operates. Pack 788 is run entirely by parent volunteers, and those volunteers shape the Cub Scout experience for your sons. We are not necessarily asking for volunteers to fill leadership roles - we are just extending an invitation for any interested parents to get a "behind the scenes" look at pack operations. Of course, there are opportunities for parents to help with specific activites and events if you want to be more involved.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to tr.tyler@ymail.com before December 9.

Committee meetings are for leaders and parents only (no scouts, please).
